Liquid Marble by Mathieu Lehanneur is a sculpture that looks like the ocean when you move around it (VIDEO).

A sculpture that moves like the ocean as you walk around it.

French designer Mathieu Lehanneur has created a sculpture that moves like the ocean. Called “Liquid Marble,” the piece is made out of black marble, and catches the reflection of the light when you move around it.

In this video, the camera moves around the work so you can experience the motion. The effect is a visual experience that looks like waves rolling on the ocean. It even captures the imagine of the sun glinting on the water. 3-D software was used to design the look of the ocean. The final product was then created using a machine, and then was hand-polished.
